Laboratory Technician - Chemical Analysis

Laboratory Assistant (Cell Testing Lab) Li-ion Battery Cell (Applied Research) Oxford
You will support the testing and evaluation of Li-ion battery cells, conducting performance and reliability tests to assist in the development of next-generation battery technologies.
Conduct charge-discharge cycling, impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and other electrochemical tests to evaluate the performance and durability of Li-ion battery cells.
Set up, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment (e.g., Accurately record test results, monitor performance, and assist with data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in battery cell performance.
Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and observations.
Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the research team.
Ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to lab safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organised testing environment.

We will design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors.
The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Familiarity with battery testing equipment (e.g., Strong ability to record, interpret, and manage test data accurately.
Knowledge of laboratory safety standards, with the ability to follow safety protocols for equipment operation and chemical handling.
Ability to work closely with R&D teams, providing testing support for battery cell development.
