You will provide administrative support to the Laboratory and be an interface between the Laboratory and its internal, external and subcontract customers.' You will receive a salary of £24,per annum (pro rata) plus excellent benefits.What you'll be doing:Receipt and registration of samples received at the Laboratory for regulatory and for commercial purposes using LIMS Sample Manager.
Running reports to monitor samples received, and act to resolve deviations or deficiencies to ensure that samples are analysed and reported according to customer expectations.
Liaison with Laboratory customers (internal, external and subcontractors) to provide effective customer support such as the provision of pre-registered paperwork and bottles as required.
Subcontracting of samples and completion of associated records.Liaison with subcontractors providing results and entry of returning sample data into laboratory systems.Display high standards of performance and quality control in keeping with a UKAS, DWTS and MCERTS accredited laboratory.Other office-based general administration as may be required.To undertake such other duties as required within the broad purpose of the job that may include out of hours or weekend working.What we are looking for:5 GCSE's Grades A – C, including English and Mathematics or Science (or equivalent qualification) Scientific background is desirableExperience in an office administration roleExperience in a customer facing roleWork in a quality controlled areaSuccessful participation in team-workingProven experience in using Microsoft Office packages, spreadsheets, and SharePointWhat's in it for you:We know that the support and commitment of our staff is key to our success so you will receive the opportunity for ongoing development and training for a long-term career with us.
