We have a great opportunity for a Service Technician & Instructor to join our Service Department.
The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm.
Here are some of the key elements of the role:
To operate and offer technical support to the Service Supervisor and Warranty Administrator on the specific allocated product lines as required.
To provide productive expertise on specific equipment lines and build long term relationships within our dealer network and key accounts.
To advise and assist dealers and end users on all aspects of the product and aftersales support.
Support the use of 'Service Kits' to ensure that parts are made available, replaced when required and properly accounted for.
Create and maintain an inventory of department tooling and location, ensuring it is calibrated, certified, maintained and the register is updated and correct.
In conjunction with the course owner, assist in the creation, preparation and powerpoint presentations and any course notes, handouts that are required.
Liaise with the lead instructor to determine machinery requirements, create a schedule and liaise with sales and logistics department to confirm availability.
When requested to do so, undertake and deliver technical training on Kubota products either at KUK or outside locations.

This job offers wide variation of tasks and challenges therefore the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience;
Will ideally have served a recognised apprenticeship or have an appropriate equivalent qualification (mechanical).
Will have at least 5 years industry experience at workshop/field level.
Will be able to demonstrate the ability to instruct and train others in technical matters, service management and workshop related issues.
Must be able to create and structure training course including timing, presentation, materials and practical elements.
Will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and skills.
Will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to carry out trouble shooting and diagnostic techniques on complex hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of dealer service management, workshop control process and utilisation of labour is essential.
Will be able to demonstrate ability to manage dealer and customer concerns and product issues to a successful conclusion using empathy, mutual respect and negotiation skills.
Must be well organised, self-motivated and be able to work by initiative, independently without supervision and able to manage difficult technical situations to a successful outcome.
Full driving licence and current passport as travel will be involved, usually with the UK and occasionally with Europe including nights away from home.
