Job Title: KS3 SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Harlow Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: The KS3 SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs.
Duties include creating individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other educational professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Required Qualifications: - A relevant teaching qualification - Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practises Education: A degree in Education or a related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: - Excellent understanding of the KS3 curriculum - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students - Proficient in using technology to enhance learning - Strong organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: - Additional training in SEN support - Experience working in a diverse classroom environment Working Conditions: The KS3 SEN Tutor will work in a classroom or home setting, in Harlow, Essex.
The role may involve working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
The tutor may also be required to attend meetings with parents, school staff, and external professionals to discuss student progress and development.
