Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver high-quality English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised lesson plans to cater to the specific learning requirements of each student Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Provide regular feedback to students and their parents/guardians on academic performance Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN Experience working with Key Stage 3 students Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of students Proficiency in creating engaging and effective lesson plans Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in SEN teaching or related areas Experience in using assistive technology in the classroom Working Conditions: Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in an educational setting (local library, school or learners home) Potential for remote tutoring sessions All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
