Job Title: KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Witham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in SEN education Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN strategies and techniques Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Strong classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional SEN training or certifications Experience working in outreach or community-based educational settings Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing educational support to students with SEN in the East of England.
The work will primarily take place in a school or community setting, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
