Job Title: KS3 SEMH Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Waltham Abbey Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to support student well-being and academic success Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEMH needs Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Effective classroom management techniques Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Training in behaviour management strategies Working Conditions: This role involves working in a school or learners home setting, providing support to students with SEMH needs.
Part-time hours are expected, with flexibility required to meet student needs and attend meetings with staff and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
