Job Title: KS3 SEMH Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Great Baddow Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: Provide one-to-one or small group tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Create and implement individualised education plans to meet the specific needs of each student Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support academic progress and emotional well-being Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEMH needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of SEMH interventions and strategies Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience in delivering tailored support to students with SEMH needs Knowledge of the Key Stage 3 curriculum Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN) Training in behaviour management techniques Experience working in a similar role within a school setting Working Conditions: Temporary position with the potential for extension Full-time hours with flexibility required to meet student needs Work closely with school staff and external professionals Supportive and inclusive educational environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
