At Leader Education , we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join and support secondary-aged students.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have experience working with young people who have Social, Emotional, or Mental Health difficulties ( SEMH ), as well as a genuine commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

· Provide one-on-one support to students with individualised learning plans.
· Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
· Monitor and manage student's behaviour and wellbeing.
· Support the development of social and emotional skills.
· Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an effective learning environment.
· Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
· Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies as required.
Qualifications: · Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
· Minimum of a high school diploma; a relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
· Previous experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting.
· A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting young people with diverse needs.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Resilience and adaptability when faced with challenging situations.
· A commitment to continuous professional development.
