An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant!
Step Teachers are working with a primary school in Norwich to recruit a KS2 Teaching Assistant to support pupil in Year 6.
This is a long-term supply role.
Key Responsibilities of a KS2 Teaching Assistant: Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.Support students with varying abilities and learning needs, including those with special educational needs.Act as a positive role model for students, promoting appropriate behaviour and social skills.Requirements of a KS2 Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working as a KS2 Teaching Assistant is essential.Strong administrative and organisational abilities are crucial.Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with staff and students.Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of the school environment.A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) is desirable but not essentialIf you’re a passionate KS2 Teaching Assistant and tick all the requirements above, we want to hear from you!
