Your new company Hays Recruitment are currently supporting an Ellesmere Port-based Primary School as they are looking to appoint a reliable and experienced KS2 (Key Stage 2) teaching assistant to assist the Year 5 class.
This is a long-term part-time contract 3 days per week and will consist of general classroom support.
Your new role As a teaching assistant within this school, you will support the Year 5 class teacher in offering a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
You will effectively utilise all learning equipment as to promote engagement and focus of pupils as well as implement a myriad of positive behaviour strategies to ensure an inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
You will take a proactive approach within the classroom as to effectively identify pupil shortfalls and accordingly support, as well as offer intervention and booster sessions.
