The Role: As a KS2 Nurture Teacher at our SEN School, you will play a crucial role in providing additional support and intervention for students who may require extra assistance with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering tailored interventions and support programs to meet the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of KS2 students.
Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support and interventions for students.
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and support to promote growth and development.
Implementing strategies to promote positive behavior management and social skills development.
Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly in KS2.
Strong understanding of social, emotional, and behavioral needs and effective strategies for supporting student well-being.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
