An opportunity for an KS1 Specialist Teaching Assistant has arisen in Preston.
All Teaching Assistants or ECTs seeking further classroom experience are welcome to apply.
The role is to begin as soon as possible, with the possibility of it being extended.
A teaching assistant with relevant qualifications or experience Recent experience working as a teaching assistant in a Primary School or Nursery Up to date knowledge of the EYFS/KS1 Curriculum and methods to support this.
Strong behaviour management, strong classroom presence and awareness of school policies Flexibility to work with children of differing abilities and ensure high attainment in the class.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be well supported by the Head teacher and SLT.
All SLT are typically involved in the day-to-day running of the school and will ensure any adverse behaviour is dealt with accordingly in line with the school's policy.
Key Responsibilities: Supporting lessons for all pupils.
Differentiate support methods to meet the needs of all pupils.
Aid the class teacher.
Commit to the wider life of the school and the community of the school.
Attend CPD sessions (Where relevant/required).
Safeguarding pupils (As per school's policies).
