One of our Whitworth schools is seeking a full-time and part-time Teaching Assistant to work in KS1, to start as soon as possible. Hours: Full-time 8:30 – 15:30 Pay: £12.90 - £13.50 Location: Whitworth Your responsibilities: Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers, other professionals and parents.
Commit to the wider life of the school and the community of the school.
Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and sessions to small groups.
Have an understanding of children's needs so that interventions can be planned and delivered.
Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them in order to support their needs.
Requirements : Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification Relevant experience working with children, within a school setting.
A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum Strong communication and interpersonal skills Have a passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
