We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a long-term maternity cover in Leeds, starting January 2025 until July 2025, with the possibility of an extension.

Roles and Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, tailoring them to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic and personal growth.Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust lesson plans to ensure all students are supported in their learning journey.Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver a cohesive learning experience.Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and development.Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development sessions. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS1 students.Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, with the ability to deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons.Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and engage with parents.A passion for working with young learners, helping them develop both academically and personally.
