A wonderful village school based in Rugby requires a Year 1 teacher from January until the end of the academic year.
This role could turn permanent for the right candidate - ECT's are welcome to apply.
This is a 2-form entry school and therefore planning will be shared amongst the Year 1 team.
Even though you will be teaching Year 1, it is always desirable to have knowledge of early years' to assist with continuous learning.
They would like the successful candidate to be empathetic, understanding, and indeed a team player.
In addition, to planning educational, fun and creative lessons, you will also be responsible for logging pupil progress, undertaking parents' evenings, writing end of year reports and attending staff meetings.
What you'll need to succeed To be a successful teacher, you must have a good knowledge of the primary school EYFS and KS1 National Curriculum.
You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so.
You must have experience teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
