You will play a vital role in providing breakfast, lunch, supper, and morning and afternoon snacks for our students and staff and ensuring that our dining services continue to be a pillar of our school community.
You will support our chefs in the daily preparation and service of food, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience.What you'll do:Assist in the preparation and service of meals and refreshments in accordance with the menu.Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all catering areas.Support the kitchen team in various tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.Help with the setup and clearing of dining areas.Engage positively with students and staff, promoting a welcoming dining atmosphere.Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food safety standardsWhat you bring:Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for othersPrevious experience in a catering or hospitality role, preferably in a school or large-scale food service environment.A passion for food and food service, coupled with a desire to contribute to a positive dining experience for students and staff.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.An understanding of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.Flexibility and a willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends.What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to?be part of something greater.
