Kitchen Assistant - Newton St Cyres Primary School And Sandford School (Exe Valley Federation)

To start 10th February 2025The Executive Headteacher and Governors of the Exe Valley Federation wish to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to support the Kitchen Manager at Newton St Cyres Primary School and then transport and serve meals daily at Sandford School.
(Own transport required).
Mileage for transporting meals between the two schools can be claimed on a monthly basis.You will need to be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working individual who can assist our kitchen manager in providing high quality meals for our students.You will need to have an appreciation for the challenges of working in a busy kitchen and be willing to carry out a variety of roles that may change on a day-to-day basis.
Ideally, previous catering experience and a Level 2 food safety would be an advantage, although training will be given.The Exe Valley Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This role requires a DBS disclosure.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
