Salary: £11.44 p/h unqualified - £11.70 p/h qualified
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time & Zero Hours positions available
Kisharon Langdon has an exciting opportunity for female* Support Workers to join their growing team in Manchester.
Kisharon Langdon are a newly merged charity offering a wider breadth of services of enhanced quality, enabling us to better support people with learning disabilities and autism and their families.
From nursery and school to further education, through to employment opportunities and supported living, Kisharon Langdon will enable people with learning disabilities and autism to thrive and realise their ambitions and aspirations.

About the Role:
As a Support Worker you will be required to work individually and as part of a team to support and enable our members to live as independently as possible.
You will also be responsible for working with our employment team to facilitate employment opportunities and assisting and supporting our members to enjoy an active social life.
You will be required to work flexible hours which will involve working early and late shifts, including sleep in's, weekends and bank holidays in accordance with member need.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist and support in the provision of social, health, and personal care to our members To assist in supporting our members in designing and developing their support/care plans To assist and support Individuals to achieve goals that link to the Kisharon Langdon Mission To support and enable our members to live as independently as possible To support and assist our members to develop new and existing skills To enable our members to form relationships and wider social networks Support our members to observe Jewish Culture To promote and adhere to the workplace values (Excellence, Responsive, Integrity, Caring and Empowering)
About You:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, you must have a good standard of written English.
Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.
Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
