We offer short/long term placements on a temporary and permanent basis for specialist SEN teachers, teaching assistants, support workers, social workers, VI/HI practitioners and mid-day meal supervisors Job title: Key Stage 3 Teacher Start: ASAP Hours: 8:30-4:15pm - Mon Fri The school caters for children aged aged 10 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health as their primary identified need.
The ideal candidate will - · Deliver tailored lessons in line with the nurture curriculum, adapting teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students · Develop and implement personalised learning plans, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and academic progress · Work closely with the pastoral team, SENCo, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil's education and care · Create a supportive, calm, and structured environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and able to express themselves Main duties - · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification · Experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably within a nurture setting or similar · Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning If you feel this would be the ideal vacancy for you, then please apply below or contact our team direct and ask for Luke Bevan @ SENCare Recruitment.
