You should be a positive and enthusiastic person who loves working with children and helping them to strive for their best.
Children will be at the heart of your work.
You must be able to demonstrate that you understand the importance of educating the whole child, that you want the very best for them and are prepared to put their needs first.
The successful candidate will need to be a positive role model with high expectations of the child in your care.

You should have a high standard of general education with good numeracy and literacy skills.
You will be able to communicate effectively with children and adults, have a flexible attitude, good sense of humour and be friendly and approachable.
Experience of working with children, good time management and the ability to work flexibly using your own initiative are essential.
