Key Stage 1 Teacher needed in collaboration with The Meridian Trust Schools Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Hours: 5 days a week within school hours, with additional team meetings after school on set days Salary: £30,000 - £47,000 Per annum Qualifications: PGCE, QTS, DFE Skills: Key Stage 1, Phonics, Little Wandle Phonics, Primary Curriculum Company Branding: 2 Form Entry School, Located in Central Peterborough Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Key Stage 1 lessons Implement the Primary Curriculum effectively Utilise Phonics, including Little Wandle Phonics, to support early literacy development Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience Required Qualifications: PGCE qualification Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Department for Education (DFE) recognition Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated experience teaching Key Stage 1 students Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum Effective classroom management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in Phonics instruction Experience working in a 2 Form Entry School Working Conditions: Temporary position with the possibility of extension Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Located in Central Peterborough Collaborative and supportive school environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
