An exciting opportunity is available to join one of the UK's leading foodservice providers as Key Account Manager.
You will be part of a wider sales team covering existing accounts across Hampshire and Dorset.
Title: Key Account Manager Basic Salary: £42,000 up to £52,000 OTE (depending on experience) plus bonus and benefits Location : Work from home - Field based As the Key Account Manager your main responsibilities are: Work with existing clients across Hampshire and Dorset creating opportunities to increase and develop profitable business growth (60% account management) Identify and develop new business opportunities (40% new business) in order to increase market share and size of the market within the region.
Manage the relationship with the customer and ensure all queries and issues are dealt with in order to retain the customer's long-term loyalty.
You will currently be working in a sales position in the hospitality industry or wanting a new challenge from working in the kitchen or in operations.
Requirements of the Key Account Manager : Driven, positive, self-motivated, ambitious individual Strong organisational and account management skills Preferred experience in a field sales role Experience of food and/or product sales (either foodservice, retail, supply side) Excellent understanding of foodservice/hospitality/catering industry, external market and a broad commercial understanding Excellent customer knowledge and contacts in order to deliver new opportunities Skill and experience at building strong relationships with customers Exceptional selling and influencing skills Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills Current driving licence and ability to work across the region as required for customer base If this role sounds like a new challenge you would like to explore, please apply for the role and we will be in touch should you have the required background.
