Description We are looking for Junior Valuations Editor / Database Assistant to support the Vehicle Valuation Managers in editing and maintaining accurate vehicle valuations across both the Car and LCV datasets.
Collating evidential datasets to make informed valuation change decisions while abiding by CDL's valuation change methodology.
To work as part of a team supporting the database assistants with new vehicle data, creating and maintaining vehicle pricing and specification information in our database of Cars, LCV's and Motorcycles.
In addition, offering support to the wider Vehicle Valuation team and liaising via phone and email with both our clients and associates.

Scope of job Vehicle Valuations- To assist Valuation Managers to maintain accurate, informed and data led used vehicle valuations for both Car and LCV.
Vehicle data- to maintain an accurate and up to date database of vehicle pricing and specification data.
Vehicle linking- to maintain an accurate level of internal model code linking, ensuring our vehicle valuation service returns the most accurate data possible to our clients.
Communication- to liaise with colleagues, clients and associates to trouble shoot internal or external data errors or resolve client queries.
Administrative Support- to deliver assigned tasks and support the wider team while working to deadlines.
Customer Relationship Management- to professionally represent CDL externally whilst building strong, ongoing working relationships.
Personal Development- to take ownership of personal development and proactively identify training needs to increase knowledge and skill levels.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise Experience A passion for the UK automotive industry and specifically used car pricing dynamics, with a good understanding of current and historic models being preferable.
A keen interest or experience within the automotive industry, specifically an understanding of vehicle types, drivetrains and specifications would be advantageous.
Proven ability with accurate data editing and inputting.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to work with numbers and perform basic calculations.
Proven experience of communicating and building working relationships with line management, colleagues, and clients.
Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
Qualifications GCSE or equivalent A-C Grades in maths and English preferable.
Benefits Salary The salary for the role of Junior Valuations Editor / Database Assistant pays up to £23,400 p.a .
