We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Tradesperson to join our Retail team covering Central and Southern England.
Your role will be to provide expert maintenance within stores, reacting to requests for urgent repairs in order to ensure a safe environment for our customers and colleagues.
You will work closely with Health & Safety and our Maintenance teams to complete work timeously and to a high standard.
You will also liase with store teams in relation to timescales for completion and working with them to reduce risks in order to remain fully operational.Responsibilites To work with the regional Tradesperson to undertake repairs within stores timeously and to the best possible standardLiaising with our maintenance team in order to plan work and order partsWorking closely with the regional Tradesperson, Health & Safety and Store Operations to ensure the safety of our customers and colleaguesWorking proactively with the regional Tradesperson to resolve maintenance issues within storesClean fascia's, entrance halls, plant areas and interiorsRenew and replace signage for POSReplace and repair fixtures, fittings and plant benchesReplace toilets and sinksReporting any risks to Health & Safety immediatelyCommunicating with Store management in relation to repairs, timescales and issues identified, in order to ensure store operations are not impactedMaintenance of tools and equipmentSafe storage of hazardous chemicalsEnsuring PPE is worn as appropriate to prevent accidentsProvide regular feedback to the Head of Construction & Maintenance on progress Measures of success Maintenance repairs are undertaken timeously and to a high standardStore Operations are able to run smoothly with minimal impact on our customersHealth & Safety standards are maintainedThere is effective communication with store teams and maintenance colleagues and there is a "one team" approach to resolving problemsStores look clean and equipment is in good working orderDemonstrate our values at all times – we're one team, getting better everyday.
