Junior Trade Assistant Role With Established Investment Management Firm

An opportunity has come up with one of our key clients, who are an established investment management firm with a strong 20+ year track record.
They have a team of over 200 globally, and cover both alternative and long only strategies.
The role is for their trade assistant team, that sits in between their middle office and investment teams.
This presents an opportunity to interact daily with Portfolio Managers, and gain experience in booking trades, carrying out pre-trade checks, and other project work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 or higher from a top university in a relevant field.
Preference is given to those with finance industry experience, although this isn't a requirement.
The base salary will be in the £30-40k range depending on experience.
