Title: Junior Project Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Overview: We are currently partnered with an international leading provider of professional services to the engineering and technology.
You will be supporting the delivery of a range of projects across IT, Service Delivery and the business.
This role involves planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering projects while effectively managing cross-functional teams, addressing challenges, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities: Establish project goals, objectives, and detailed plans.
Work with stakeholders to set priorities and define deliverables.
Determine resource needs and manage their effective allocation.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation plans.
Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards.
Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and key milestones.
Build strong relationships and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
Address concerns and manage expectations proactively.
Monitor and control project budgets to stay within financial limits.
Optimize resource use and adjust plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate project documentation for compliance and reference.
Prepare and deliver detailed updates and performance reports to leadership.
Use domain-specific knowledge to guide project decisions.
Navigate industry-specific challenges (e.g., IT, software development, business transformation, or finance).
Apply industry best practices and standards tailored to the project's needs.
Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., APM PFQ or Prince2 Foundation) preferred.
Proven experience and success in a related role, such as Project Coordinator or Project Assistant.
Foundational knowledge of project management principles, including schedule development, proactive monitoring, risk management, task prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.
Exposure to specific types of projects, such as IT support rollouts or event management, with limited independent accountability.
Experience managing budgets of up to £250K, typically for small-scale projects.
