The Role:As a Structural Project Engineer, you will be liaising with the structural design team, advising on concepts and improvements to current projects.You will largely be responsible for analysisYour responsibilities will include:Preparing concept design drawings, and calculationsResponsible for Technical Calculations, Simulations and Analysis such as: Beam Load, Foundations, Structural, Stress, bending moments and MaterialsAttending customer meetings in the UK and overseasInterpreting and working from customer requirements, specifications and drawingsPerform detailed engineering calculations using both software or hand calculations – These include: Structural, fluid dynamic, finite element analysis, and general mechanicsSupport project management, engineering, quality, and supply chain teamsAssist in producing user manuals/instructions.Conduct site surveys, condition assessments, and produce technical reports and recommendations.Provide technical support to internal and external customers.Research and development to maintain market leadership.What we're looking for in a Structural Project Engineer:Previous experience in a mechanical design roleEngineeirng Qualification Level 5 or aboveGood understanding of fabricated structures/components and manufacturing techniques.Ability to interpret/create piping and instrumentation diagrams.Willingness to learn and desire to move into a more technically challenging roleThe Benefits:Competitive salary package – of up to £35,000 Depending on experience.More qualified candidates would be welcome to apply, and a more competitive salary would be discussed if additional experience can be brought to the role.Profit share scheme and performance related Bonus'sPrivate Personal healthcareSalary sacrifice car scheme availableOffice-based role, however flexible working can be offered - Standard working hours of 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday24 days of annual leave + bank holidaysA supportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunities for professional development, career growth
