Design Junior Nightwear Designer Position: Junior Nightwear DesignerLocation: West YorkshireSalary: c£26,000-£27,000 plus depending on experience Job Reference No: D019Recruiting Consultant: Olivia Details Junior Nightwear Designer OverviewThis successful fashion business requires a commercially aware Junior Designer to work within their well-established ladies nightwear and loungewear department.The Junior Designer will design garment shapes, and some graphics and prints.
They may also assist in the swimwear department.Junior Nightwear Designer Responsibilities Liaise closely with factories overseasCreate detailed tech packsAnalyse current and future trends, create mood boards and trend packs and interpret trends into rangeAttend customer meetings and work into customer set briefsAssist in designing and developing commercial ranges Additional InformationThe ideal candidate for the Junior Designer role must have some experience working in a design role, and have a good understanding of the fabrics and how to create commercial ranges involving prints, graphics and all over prints.Experience in designing nightwear would be beneficial although is not essential.
