ODDIN is a corporate threat intelligence and due diligence consultancy firm specialising in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Web Intelligence (WEBINT).
We are seeking an Intelligence Analyst on a self-employed contract basis (initially 3 months, leading to 12 months following demonstration of capability) to assist with ongoing projects.
The role would suit graduates or postgraduates looking to pursue a career in intelligence, international relations, due diligence, or corporate resilience/compliance/risk management.
Salary: £25,000 p/a (pro-rata) Duties: To support ongoing OSINT projects, delivering industry-leading research and analysis for multinational clients.
Daily online monitoring to diagnose and analyse threats within various online channels.
Including social media, traditional media, online aggregators and subscription services.
Produce professional standard written intelligence reports analysing risks relating to world business and international politics.
Provide ad-hoc research and analysis support to other ODDIN employees as and when required.
Role: Junior analyst, reporting to company director.
Initial 3-month contract, with the opportunity to extend to 12-months following demonstration of suitability for the position.
Full-time, Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00, at our office in Taunton, Somerset.
Self-employed basis, invoicing every four weeks.
Experience: A university degree, ideally in one of the following subjects: Intelligence and Security, International Relations, Politics, or Law.
Adjacent degrees will be considered.
Previous experience working in a position involving intelligence/due diligence is desirable.
Skills: Required: Utmost confidentiality and respect of clients' sensitive information and readiness to work under NDA conditions.
Understanding of current affairs and risks faced by multinational corporations.
Timely diagnosis and assessment of threats/red flags and ability to concisely analyse such risks.
Production of professional standard intelligence reports outlining and analysing qualitative threat information, following induction into the company.
Maturity, self-motivation, discipline and eagerness to support the business from the outset.
The position comes with a significant level of responsibility and candidates must be prepared to work hard and take on-board constructive criticism.
Must enjoy working independently or in small groups.
Desired: Familiarity with the intelligence cycle and intelligence reports.
