Your Position within the Team Following our recent organisational re-design, this new position reports directly to the Head of HR for Global Technology and would be a key figure within the team.
In this role, you would be pivotal in shaping the employee experience for an evolving and delivery-focused technology function.
As a Junior HRBP /HR Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational HR support, assisting in workforce planning and driving employee engagement initiatives across the global tech teams.
What you'll do: Strategic HR Support: Implement the People Strategy for the technology function in the UK in alignment with technology objectives.Provide strategic HR advice and support to senior leadership and business units across the region.Lead the development of a high-performance culture, emphasising our 5 target behaviours.Oversee the design and implementation of organisational development programs, including leadership development, succession planning, and talent management.Drive change management initiatives and provide guidance on organizational restructuring.Ensure alignment with global HR functions and other divisions to maintain a cohesive delivery of HR operations.Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation across the region.Drive best practices in HR management, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.Employee Relations and Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, providing sound guidance on all employee relations matters.Lead initiatives to enhance culture and engagement, supporting country-specific programs aligned with the People Strategy.Project Management: Take ownership of optimising our commercial incentive schemes to boost productivity and retention rates.Oversee the delivery of divisional HR projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the People Strategy and business objectives.Oversee the delivery of cyclical HR projects, including performance management processes and engagement surveys.Continuous Improvement: Seek regular feedback to enhance the stakeholder experience and identify opportunities for improvement.Support the embedding of an updated HR Target Operating Model, leveraging HR tools and resources.The way we work: At IG Group, we've set out five target behaviours that we expect everyone to strive to achieve in all that we do:

What you'll need: We are looking for a proven HR operator with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
