Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a Junior Customer Project Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for: Creating detailed customer engineering drawings.
Developing comprehensive technical specification documents and checklists.
Designing bespoke mechanically sound components, including hydraulic flange fittings.
Collecting project requirements and understanding customer needs and preferences.
Serving as a specialised point of contact for customer inquiries regarding our HV products.
Essential Criteria: Produce accurate and detailed engineering drawings for customer projects.
Develop and maintain technical specification documents and checklists.
Ensure all designs, such as hydraulic flange fittings, meet mechanical integrity and safety standards.
Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments to ensure project requirements are met.
Support the implementation of HV monitoring solutions by providing technical expertise.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues related to project designs.
Qualifications: A minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience with CAD software packages (Solid-Edge preferably) including creating 2D technical drawings.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment.
