Junior Area Sales Manager Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Junior Area Sales Manager on behalf of our client based in Telford, Shropshire within the manufacturing industry.
Our client is looking to appoint a person that can deliver an effective and efficient service and somebody who is flexible and can help meet the needs of the sales department.
They will be responsible for handling administrative and operational tasks to streamline the sales process and ensure customer satisfaction.
Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00am 17:00pm | Office based with travelling away from home to be expected.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE.
Duties include but not limited to: Respond to customer enquiries, providing product information and assisting with order placement.
Identify and target potential customers, including egg producers, farms and food processing companies within the UK and Eire.
Generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking and company visits.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, orders and customer interactions.
Prepare and process sales orders and invoices and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products or services.
Assist in the preparation and presenting of sales reports and forecasts which are consistent with the organisational requirements.
Assisting the sales team in preparation of quotes and proposals for customers and follow up.
This will include scheduling of appointments, meetings, travel arrangements for sales reps and providing administrative support to the team.
Staying up to date with product knowledge to effectively assist customers and provide relevant information.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, like sales and product management to understand product features, benefits and competitive advantages.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential customers.
Providing insights to the sales team to help identify new sales opportunities.
Participate in industry trade shows and events to represent the company and events to represent the company and its products.
The Successful Candidate: Business Administration NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Minimum GCSE Math and English C grade and above.
Excellent IT Skills including MS Windows, email and Office 365.
Can work well within a team environment.
1 years Sales experience minimum.
Experience reading and interpreting CAD drawings.
Able to take measurements on-site for customers and liaise with the sales team.
