The Role: Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Hampshire is open all year and offers 180 acres of beauty, inspiration and discovery.
Over 42,000 plants from temperate regions around the world grow in a variety of themed landscapes- this varied and exciting role will see you assist the Head Arborist and join our horticultural team.
The Junior Arborist will be competent with chainsaw operations as well as climbing and aerial rescue operations.
You'll contribute to the first class maintenance of the plant collection and associated landscape ensuring that Hillier Gardens achieves the highest standards of horticultural maintenance and presentation.
When required, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in other horticultural operations to maintain and develop the garden.
It is expected that you'll be conversant with current arboriculture techniques, hold all relevant NPTC qualifications and have previous experience in the sector.
