Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team within the Healix Group of Companies.
The Healix Group of Companies has been providing healthcare and risk management solutions to clients around the world since 1992, offering bespoke services to clients who want control over their health, travel and risk provision.
  What we are looking for: Whilst the Finance team is a relatively small department, we support and rely on each other.
It is important that you are a team player, you are able to prioritise your work and have an inquisitive mind to ensure the job is completed to an exact standard.
  In addition, the Accounts Assistant is someone who: Has a confident understanding and working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and  accounting principles Has a genuine interest in book keeping and accounts Is confident with Microsoft Excel and Word at an Intermediate level Is a strong communicator and has a good command of the English language, both written and verbal Is diligent and helpful   Ideally we are looking for someone who is studying AAT or looking to study CIMA or ACCA.
About The Role The key focus of the Accounts Assistant will be to : To ensure bank receipts and payments are properly recorded and reconciled To process the biweekly provider payment runs To process client sales invoices and manage client invoice distribution To manage aged debt and credit control To assist with balance sheet reconciliations Processing accounting records efficiently within the accounting system, Access Dimensions To support all colleagues across the businesses including claims and customer care teams, senior management and accounts team We would expect the successful candidate to be based in our office in Esher whilst they get to grips with the role, however once fully trained there will be the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.

Desired Criteria Studying AAT or looking to study CIMA or ACCA Required Criteria A confident understanding and working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles Microsoft Excel and Word at an Intermediate level At least 1 year's experience of working in an Accounts Payables and/or Accounts Receivables role Experience in Credit Control Closing Date Friday 7th February, 2025
