We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Role Overview: As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and presentation of our dishes.
You will work closely with the Head Chef and the kitchen brigade to ensure that each dish meets our high standards of quality and creativity.
Your dedication, skill, and enthusiasm will help maintain Sorrel's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
- Work across various sections of the kitchen, including meat, fish, and vegetable stations.
- Assist in the development of new dishes and menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation and the overall kitchen.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.
Qualifications and Skills: - Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in a Michelin-starred or fine dining establishment.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for food and a desire to continually learn and improve.
