We are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join our inhouse trade team, working on housing developments within the Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Derbyshire area's.
What are we offering?
For the right candidate, you'll get; Competitive salary based on experience paid weekly Working hours of Monday to Friday 7.30am - 16.30pm, 40 hours per week 33 days annual leave including 8 bank holidays pro rata Company pension Employee Assist Programme Company social events To be considered for this role, candidates must have a driving licence, own vehicle and own tools due to the nature of the works, along with; Minimum of 3 years of onsite experience NVQ Level 2 or above in Joinery and Carpentry.
A firedoor fitting qualification (preferable) First aid certification (preferable) Face fit tested (preferable) CSCS card is preferred although further training with be provided.
PPE will also be provided.
You must be able to attend a company induction at our Head Office in Salford prior to starting on site.
Key Responsibilities; Internal and external window and door hanging (inc fire, Upvc and composite products) First, second and final fix works Keeping workspaces, safe, clean and tidy Complete joinery and multi skilled tasks in line with project timescales and programmes Interpret drawings to identify materials required to complete works Mentor other members of the multi skilled team including apprentices Completing general labouring duties as and when required You must be a good communicator, have a great eye for detail, be competent in the use of of power tools and work well as part of a team.
Face to face interviews will be held at our Head Office in Salford, with an ideal start date of 6th January 2025.
