Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who has a willingness to adapt and to learn.Reporting to the Work Load Co-ordinator, you will oversee the repair/planned and unplanned maintenance, of all building structures, fabric and finishes, and the implementation of minor building works associated with premises administered by the Estates & Facilities Division.You will carry out your duties to a high standard in an efficient and timely manner and will be required to carry out as required, where you are deemed competent, duties in other trades appertaining to Estates & Facilities and the operational function of the Division, in the pursuit of a fully flexible workforce.
There will also be a need to provide sickness and annual leave cover for the section.
You will integrate with all sections of the Estates and Facilities Division and liaise with all trust staff.To succeed in the role you will have a completed a time served apprenticeship or similar structured training program with post qualification experience in an Joinery discipline and possess an Joinery background with a good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and guidance.
