H&T Jewellery Allocator H&T began serving communities in London in 1897.
Since then we have expanded to become one of the oldest and leading pawnbrokers in the UK.
In recent years, H&T has accelerated its development by adding new products and services, expanding the store network and developing a complete online service.
Our continued investment in the business and the communities we serve has resulted in us being the largest pawnbroker in the UK and Scotland.
We are now seeking to add to our amazing team and require a stock Allocator to join our amazing team based in within Rochester, Kent.
This is a full time permanent opportunity, working 37.5 hours per week.
Role Summary JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for maximising sales through stock optimisation, whilst acting as a key point of contact for stores operational teams.
Working closely with the merchandising team to deliver sales stock and profit targets by providing accurate and timely administration to support the department and wider business.
Utilises historical performance and analysis data to advise and collaborate on allocation decisions.
Partners with key stakeholders to ensure stock is in the right place, and at the right time across the store estate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Inventory Control and Trading Creates, maintains, and utilises accurate reporting on inventory KPIs to ensure robust stock management.
Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement, ensuring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and completed within deadlines.
Trading Responsible for maintaining your group of stores, identifying, and mitigating risks whilst maximising profit opportunities and acting quickly on critical issues.
Keep up to date with market trends and remain aware of how these trends can impact sales targets.
Promotional Activity Accurately and collaboratively communicates promotional plans to store operational teams, ensuring details are clear, realistic, and that teams are setup for success.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS : Highly organised and professional.
Attention to detail and accuracy is key Excellent communication skills.
Written and verbal Makes an active, supportive, and positive contribution across the buying and merchandising team Actively aims to provide great customer service to area and store teams Strong computer literacy: Excel is essential with strong numeracy skills Analytical skills and solution-orientated thinking Effective at prioritizing workload and with a flexible attitude to change in priorities Able to work on own initiative and to be pro-active DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS : Work experience in jewellery or pre-owned product.
