It Technician

Job DescriptionHelpdesk Technician required.
Our client is a well-established firm who have been helping businesses across the UK to build & maintain hyper-efficient IT networks for over 27 years.
They are now seeking a motivated individual to join their Helpdesk Team to work alongside other team members who together are responsible for being at the sharp end of support.
This role is based in Southwick, West Sussex.
Position Overview Being the first point of contact and dealing with IT-related incidentsLogging incidents via an advanced automated ticketing systemCarrying out repairs/fixes and escalate where necessary Being able to work shifts based on a rota, between 7:30 & 9:30 startsWorking with Windows and Microsoft Servers Travelling to customer sites when required Position Requirements Full UK Driving LicensePreviously worked for a computer Managed Server Provider A basic understanding of IT & IT Terminology, including Window Servers and Workstation productsExcellent telephone manner is required alongside friendly customer service skillsConfident working in a busy often hectic environment Willing to be flexible with working arrangements Position Remuneration Salary £22,000 – 28,000 DOEMonday to Friday25 days holiday + bank holidaysHealthcare after probationCareer progression, Development & Training Company Pension & Funded social events Perk box benefits and rewards after probation Potential for flexible working arrangements after qualifying period
