It Technician

What you'll do We are searching for an enthusiastic and client focused IT Technician to join our Exeter office on a full time basis.
You will contribute in the provision of an efficient and effective IT support service, by having the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues for all desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices and video conferencing equipment across our 4 offices.
This role will require you to configure and manage IT equipment and maintain good levels of stock of spares across our offices.
Having strong interpersonal skills and a customer focused approach, you will offer technical support to our employees by being well organised and practical, with a logical, analytical approach to problem solving.
You will be liaising with various departments and individuals throughout the firm, including the IT Helpdesk and Facilities teams, to ensure the efficient organisation and support where needed.
You will also liaise with third party suppliers where necessary and also provide support to the IT Systems and Security Manager on project work, when required.
This is a full time position, requiring the team to fulfil the following shift pattern: 07:00- 15:15, 09:00- 17:15 and 09:45- 18:00.
There will be the requirement to arrange site visits with our other offices as and when is necessary.
Who you are You may be in a similar role looking for a change; and with technical expertise alongside previous customer and client service skills, you can demonstrate an ability to respond to the needs of the business, acting professionally and ethically to protect the confidentiality of the Firm and its people.
As a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a flair for building effective working relationships across all levels.
You hold a valid full UK driving licence and access to you own vehicle to enable travel to various offices that require in-person support.
