Description We are delighted to be recruiting for an IT Support Analyst to join a proactive IT support team based in Blackpool, supporting their 60 internal users, and dealing with general IT support queries.The main responsibilities include prioritising user requirements, overseeing system upgrades, and researching new tools.
In this role, you should be highly analytical and able to understand business needs.
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
End-user support and customer-centricity are at the forefront of the role.The role will be conducted from their office in Blackpool.
However, the initial training with be in Skelmersdale at their HQThe main Duties & Responsibilities expected from the IT Support Analyst will be: Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirementsPick up tickets from the IT helpdesk platform and ensure they are responded to within the operational level agreement between the IT function and the businessEscalate tickets to the development or business analyst functions as appropriateMonitor IT systems proactively to ensure they are maintained in good working orderResponsible for checking and ensuring daily backups have been completedMonitoring system security and patching levelsDesign efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needsContact center telephony administration • Gather feedback from end-users about system PerformancePlan and oversee projects (, upgrades, hardware/software installations)Provide advice and technical trainingKeep abreast of technology trends and developmentsDiagnose and troubleshoot PC errors.Be available for on-call support as needed.Experience and skills required from the IT Support Analyst will be:Experience with Windows desktop and server environmentsWindows server administration skillsExperience with cloud services (Office 365, Microsoft Azure) a plusProblem-solving attitude and aptitudeGood communication skills both written and verbalGood problem-solving skillsAbility to manage own workload effectivelyExcellent time management skillsAttention to detailAn ability to Take ownershipExperience in the following technologies is desirable –Windows desktop operating systemsWindows ServerMicrosoft 365 and Active DirectoryIIS AdministrationSalary: £25,000 + BENEFITSIn return, we can offer you an exciting career in a growing company with an excellent salary to £25,000 base, a career path with an additional benefits package
