Our IT Service plays a critical enabling role in the delivery of these services, supporting our people in carrying out their duties with safe and secure use of technology.We are seeking to hire an IT Specialist in Information Security to join our Infrastructure & Security team reporting to the Team Manager and is responsible for ensuring the cyber security and resilience of the Council, providing advice and working closely with colleagues in IT, other Council departments and partners in the 3rd and commercial sectors.As part of your role, you will be required to promote security awareness and raise cyber security risks to management and colleagues.
Your role will require that you have a broad range of technical and cyber security experience.
