Following a recent internal promotion, Trinity House are looking to appoint a new colleague to join the IT support team to assist in providing vital technology services to Trinity House.
This role is perfect for someone who: - Has a natural curiosity and enthusiasm for technology.
- Enjoys solving challenges and providing excellent customer support.
- Is looking to work across a wide range of software, systems, and technologies.
- Can work using initiative and also as part of a great team.
We value learning and development, so excellent training and development opportunities are provided.
Your experience, skills and qualifications to date will ideally include: - A keen aptitude for IT and technology.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in an IT support environment (utilising service level agreements an advantage).
- Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft products including 365.
- Awareness and understanding of basic cyber security threats, vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work to timescales.
- Five Level 2 qualifications including English and mathematics.
- A relevant IT related qualification e.g.
CompTIA A+, NVQ Level 3, BTEC National Certificate would be an advantage.
After suitable training and experience, you may be required to participate in the roster to provide limited out-of-hours on-call cover for approximately one week in eight.
Occasional, short-duration travel to our other UK sites may also be required.
