Our IT Infrastructure is key to the operation of the RNLI and supports lifesaving activities, training, fundraising and the building of our Lifeboat fleet.
You will be responsible for the provision of 3rd line support and be a senior escalation point for IT Operational Infrastructure and Cloud platforms services.
Your role will involve proactively managing the RNLI Server & Cloud estate and delivering timely, prompt and exemplary customer service to the RNLI staff, volunteers and supporters.

- Extensive experience in Microsoft Domain services: DHCP, DNS, AD Sites and Services.
- Extensive experience in Hyper-V and Azure.
- Experience of Exchange Server and Office 365.
- Experience of PowerShell scripting.
- Working knowledge of SQL, SANs and Monitoring is desirable.
About the role Working as an IT Senior Infrastructure Engineer, your role will include: - Providing detailed, 3rd level technical support of physical, virtual and public-cloud infrastructure.
- Deploying enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
- Providing input and advice into new system design and existing system improvements.
- Designing and conducting server security audits, system backup and recovery processes.
- Creating and maintaining documentation around system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
