Methods is currently looking for an IT Security Support Engineer on a contract basis for a leading electronics company.
Client: Leading Electronics Company This role is for maternity cover for 1 year, starting from 1st Jan 2025 Salary : GBP 30K – GBP 35K Onsite : 5 days a week at Chertsey, Surrey Must be Korean Speaking – fluent in spoken and written They will interview and get the onboarding/contracts complete this side of Christmas in order for early Jan start.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To be responsible for providing technical support for Endpoint Security Software and System to employees and clients.
You will be the main point of contact for a selection of customers and deal with their technical queries in a professional and timely manner.
This will be via e-mail or online meeting or messenger or call.
Must have proactive attitude to meet and achieve the customer's requirement.
You will be gathering information and delivering and educating information to subsidiaries by receiving business instructions from the security manager.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: To provide technical support for Endpoint security solution to subsidiaries IT managers and clients in Europe, CIS, MEA, and Africa.
Operating Security system on office and subsidiaries Regular system maintenance and implementation (Delete leavers, Remove mass old data, Update and patch, etc.)
Regular proceeding security scan for client's system and network and report Backup of operation management for system and PC Ensure Company Security Policies are adhered to To produce on-time resolution ratio for customer's request Reporting Periodic reports and issues reports KEY LIAISONS: Security Team IT managers of European subsidiaries.
HQ Security Center and Security software vendors DIMENSIONS: PC security software support for UK and whole Europe, MEA, Africa subsidiaries Support security manager and IT managers Training for using and managing PC security software Support Korea HQ security team SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: Fluent Korean and English to liaise between HQ and Customers.
MS Windows (for Server OS and PC OS) skills be able to troubleshoot software problems in Windows OS Ability to analyze logically to resolve technical issues.
Customer approachable attitude and a customer focused person Knowledge of IT infrastructure Excellent communication skills Essential – Knowledge of Security solution, especially endpoint security solution Knowledge of Server Hardware and OS, Database Knowledge of Computer Network Fluent, written and spoken in Korean and English Advantage - Knowledge/on Database (MS-SQL) (Preferred) Various Experiences of working in customer support (Preferred) Experience of Malicious code analysis or Security Incident Response Experience of training delivery or lecturer in IT technical area Experienced Windows operating systems and security Speaking and writing and reading in Korean
