IT Project Manager Bristol - Travel required £50,000 Job Overview: As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT projects for our clients on time, within scope, and budget.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met.
Thie role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of IT project methodologies and technologies.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning : Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
Project Execution : Oversee day-to-day operations, manage project teams, and ensure all project activities are executed efficiently.
Client Management : Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication of project progress, risks, and issues.
Risk & Issue Management : Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
Budget Management : Monitor project budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently, and financial goals are met.
Stakeholder Communication : Provide regular project updates to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
Post-Project Review : Conduct project evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in a consultancy or multi-client environment.
Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles, and infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
