My client is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead and contribute to strategic, transformation, and business-led projects.
This role involves managing major projects that impact operations and service delivery, analysing and reviewing business systems, and designing and developing services as part of the IT program.
Manage the planning and delivery of multiple or large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Engage with senior and executive management, delivering presentations and gathering requirements.
Conduct interviews and workshops to define existing systems and future requirements, translating them into system specifications.
Oversee IT-related projects, coordinating internal and external resources, and ensuring adherence to change control procedures.
Identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate the redesign of service delivery for efficiency and value.
Maintain thorough documentation of systems and processes and stay updated on application developments in relevant sectors.
Identify and mitigate project risks and contribute to the development of disaster recovery plans.
Foster continuous development through training, knowledge sharing, and building positive relationships within the IT department and with system users.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in business and systems analysis within large corporate environments, including operational, digital, and technology settings.
Successful track record in redesigning service delivery, participating in service development, and managing performance (people, process, and systems).
Experience in gaining consensus for solutions from various stakeholders and managing complex IT projects with large budgets and strategic impact.
Exposure to ITIL, PRINCE2, AGILE, LEAN methodologies, and systems development and implementations.
Experience leading teams, managing staff, and confidently leading major projects with excellent communication and active listening skills.
