Robert Half is supporting a Global Consulting Firm in recruiting an IT Project Manager for a key role within a high-impact transformation programme in the hospitality and retail sector.
This programme is focused on optimising real estate assets, involving site reconfigurations, decommissions, and significant IT transitions.
The IT Project Manager will act as the central IT liaison, aligning various project workstreams and ensuring seamless communication with business stakeholders.
Assignment Details: Location : Near Milton Keynes (Hybrid Working – 1-2 days per week on-site) Duration : Initial 6-month contract Day Rate : £550 p/day via FCSA Accredited umbrella company Start Date : Immediate start with a lead time for c.1-2 weeks onboarding and technology setup Experience Required: Significant experience in IT project management within the hospitality, retail, or FMCG sectors, with a focus on large-scale programmes and stakeholder engagement.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence and align various teams across complex projects.
Proactive, responsive, and adaptable, with experience managing physical IT transitions, including site decommissioning, equipment commissioning, and network migrations.
Proven ability to document workflows, establish processes, and implement RACI frameworks for clear role delineation and accountability.
Key Responsibilities: Lead IT integration for the transformation programme, working closely with project leads to support large-scale reconfigurations and real estate transitions.
Oversee coordination, engagement, and documentation processes to ensure alignment across stakeholders within the hospitality and retail space.
Serve as the primary IT point of contact, interfacing with various programme teams and providing robust support for IT-related transitions.
Manage hands-on IT processes, including equipment setup, physical site transitions, and network migrations.
Establish and maintain a RACI framework to support clear communication, accountability, and efficiency within the IT project framework.
Engage with stakeholders to facilitate project delivery, especially on complex real estate and operational initiatives.
