Role Overview We are seeking experienced IT Infrastructure Field Engineers to join and strengthen our team.
This position requires advanced technical expertise, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
As the primary point of contact for many of our clients, you will play a critical role in upholding the company's reputation.
Your professionalism and technical excellence will shape client expectations and solidify the foundation of our business relationships.
Candidates must reside within 60 minutes of Richmond and be adept at providing hands-on support, delivering high-quality installations, and resolving third-line escalations with minimal supervision.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve advanced third-line issues involving servers, networking, and cloud systems.
Administer hybrid environments with technologies such as Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and VMware.
Configure and manage networking solutions, including VLANs, NAT, DNS, and firewalls.
Physical Engineering: Execute high-quality installations, including cable trunking, hardware setups, and network infrastructure upgrades.
Ensure all on-site work adheres to professional standards and meets client expectations.
Project Support: Collaborate with the IT Field Operations Manager and fellow engineers on large-scale projects, such as system migrations and installations.
Produce detailed documentation of technical solutions and configurations for future reference.
Salary & Benefits Salary: £40,000–£45,000.

Qualifications Experience: 5–7 years' experience in 3rd line support or a comparable field engineering role.
Proven track record of working independently and delivering high-quality technical solutions.
Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, and advanced networking.
Familiarity with Dell PowerEdge servers, Cisco networking, and tools such as SolarWinds.
Other Requirements: Valid UK driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong physical engineering skills (e.g., cable management).
Must reside within a 60-minute commute of Richmond.
